Skinny spanish rice

| 1½ | cup | Onion -- chopped |
| 1 | cup | Rice; converted white -- |

| 1 | cup | Green pepper -- chopped |
| 1 | cup | Celery -- chopped |
| 1 | teaspoon | Chili powder |
| 8 | ounces | Can whole tomatoes -- |
| Undrain | ||
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt water |
| 3 | tablespoons | Bacon bits |
Directions
Melt the margarine in a heavy skillet. Saute the onion. Stir in the rice, green pepper, celery, chili powder, canned tomatoes and salt. Add the water; bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is cooked. Garnish with the bacon bits to serve.
