| ½ | pounds | Ground turkey |
| 1 | medium | Chopped onion |
| 1 | medium | Green pepper -- chopped |
| 2 | cups | Water |
| 1 | can | Tomato sauce -- 8 oz |
| 1 | cup | Long-grain rice -- uncooked |
| 2 | tablespoons | Worcestershire sauce |
| ½ | teaspoon | Chili powder |
| ½ | teaspoon | Dried thyme |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Hot pepper sauce |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Cayenne pepper -- optional |
| 1 | dash | Pepper |
Directions
In skillet melt butter over medium heat. Add the ground turkey, onion and green pepper; cook until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.
Add all of remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until rice is tender, about 30 min. Yield: 4 servings.
