½ pounds | Cooked shrimp -or- |
2 cans | (4.25-oz) shrimp; rinsed and drained |
1 pack | (3-oz) cream chesse; softened |
⅓ cup | Thousand island dressing |
⅓ cup | Mayonnaise |
2 tablespoons | Grated or chopped onion |
1 teaspoon | Horseradish |
Serve with crakers, veggies, tortilla chips, or for a change use crabmeat instead of shrimp. This also works well as a special salad dressing. Also you can spread this on garlic bread, and sprinkle parmesan chesse, then heat under the broiler for 5 minutes.
Finely chop the shrimp, reserving a few whole shrimp for garnish. In a large bowl, combine chopped shrimp with reamining ingredients; mix well.
Spoon misture into serving bowl, granish with reserved shrimp, and chill.
Makes 2-½ cups.
