Rum balls (cookies)

Ingredients

| 2½ | cup | Vanilla wafers; crushed |
| 1 | cup | Powdered sugar |
| 2 | eaches | Tb Cocoa; unsweetened |
| 1 | cup | Nuts; finely chopped |

| Combine vanilla wafer crumbs, 1 cup powdered sugar, | ||
| ½ | cup | White corn syrup |
| ¼ | cup | Rum |
| 1 | cup | Powdered sugar |
Directions
and cocoa, mixing well. Add the nuts, syrup and rum, stirring until well blended. Shape into 1" balls and place on waxed paper. Let stand 1 hour, then roll in powdered sugar to coat and press a pecan half in each ball. Store in tightly covered container for three days.
