Yield: 20 Wafers
Measure | Ingredient |

¼ cup | Butter |
½ cup | Confectioners' sugar |
¼ cup | Milk |
1 cup | Flour |
½ teaspoon | Vanilla |
\N \N | Almonds, finely chopped |
Preheat oven to 325F. Cream the butter and sugar. Very slowly add the milk, then stir in the flour and vanilla.
Spread dough thin on a greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with almonds. Mark in 3 inch squares.
Bake for 15 minutes. Cut squares with a sharp knife. While still hot, roll the wafers over the handle of a wooden spoon, or shape into cornucopias. Fill with whipped cream if desired. Yield: Makes about 20 wafers Typed in MMFormat by cjhartlin@... Source: The New Settlement Cookbook.
