Peach cobbler (old fashioned)

Ingredients

| ¾ | cup | Flour |
| 1 | dash | Salt |
| 2 | teaspoons | Baking Powder |
| 1 | cup | Sugar |
| ¾ | cup | Milk |
| ½ | cup | Butter |
| 2 | cups | Sliced Peaches; Fresh |
| 1 | cup | Sugar |
| Whipped Cream Or Ice Cream; Optional | ||
Directions
1. Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
2. Mix with i cup sugar, slowly stir in milk to make batter.
3. Melt butter in a 8 x 8 x 2" baking pan.
4. Pour batter over melted butter. Do not stir.
5. Mix the peaches and 1 cup sugar thoroughly and carefully spoon them over batter.
6. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
7. Serve hot or cold with whipped cream or homemade ice cream.
