Peach cobbler #1

Ingredients

¼cupBrown sugar
½cupWater or peach juice
3cupsSugared sliced peaches
1tablespoonButter
1tablespoonLemon juice
1cupFlour
½cupSugar
teaspoonBaking powder
½teaspoonSalt
½cupMilk
¼cupMelted butter
2tablespoonsSugar
¼teaspoonCinnamon

Directions

Mix cornstarch, brown sugar, and water or peach juice if using canned peaches. Add fruit. Cook and stir until thick. Add butter and lemon juice and pour into baking dish. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add milk and butter and beat until smooth. Pour over fruit.

Combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over batter. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
