½ cup | Margarine |

2 cups | Flour |
1 teaspoon | Baking soda |
½ teaspoon | Salt |
¾ teaspoon | Nutmeg |
1 teaspoon | Cinnamon |
2 cups | Apples; diced |
1 cup | Nuts; chopped |
Beat until creamy: sugar, margarine and eggs. Sift together the next 5 ingredients and add to above mixture. Mix the apples and nuts well and fold into batter. Bake in 9 X 13" pan @ 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. Serve topped with whip cream.
