One bowl chocolate brownie cookies

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
6 \N 1-oz-ea semisweet chocolate square
4 \N 1-oz-ea unsweetened baking chocolate squares
6 tablespoons Butter or margarine
1¼ cup Sugar
3 \N Egg
2 teaspoons Vanilla
1 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
2 cups Chopped walnuts, optional

Heat oven to 325*. 1. Microwave chocolates and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1½ to 2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring halfway through heating time. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and smooth. 2. Stir sugar into chocolate mixture until blended. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.

Stir in nuts ( Dough will be soft). Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. 3. Bake: 12 minutes or until set. DO NOT OVER BAKE.

Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely on wire rack.

Store in airtight container.

NOTES : Instead of the semi-sweet baking chocolate, you can use 6 oz.

bittersweet baking chocolate squares.
