Noodle goulash

¾ | pounds | Ground beef or turkey; lean |
½ | cup | Onion; chopped |
¾ | cup | Carrot; diced |
¾ | cup | Celery; diced |
1 | cup | Cheese, cheddar; diced |

Garlic seasoning; optional | ||
1 | teaspoon | Chili powder |
1 | pint | Tomato juice; * |
1 | pint | Tomatoes |
1 | tablespoon | Sugar |
Directions
*instead of tomato juice and tomatoes you can use 1 qt tomato juice and a 6-oz can tomato sauce
Boil noodles until tender. Drain. Brown ground beef and onion together and add to noodles. Boil carrots and celery for about 15 minutes or until tender. Add to noodle mixture along with rest of ingredients except cheese. Simmer on low about ½-hour or more.
Toward serving time, add sugar and cheese. Heat 10 minutes.
