Directions

MIX

Sift flour and salt into large bowl. Cut in shortening until it is the consistency of cornmeal and small peas. Store in air-tight container or jar in a cool place. Will keep for weeks! see below: yield - 18 cups of mix (enough for 6-8 pies) Source - Swift'nin shortening can (years ago)

TO MAKE CRUSTS:
