Million-dollar pound cake

Yield: 20 servings

Measure Ingredient
3 cups Sugar
1 pounds Butter
6 \N Eggs
¾ cup Milk
4 cups Flour
¾ teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 teaspoon Lemon or almond extract

Heat oven to 300 degrees. Cream the sugar and butter until fluffy.

Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add the milk and flour alternately to the creamed mixture. Fold in the baking powder, vanilla and extract. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
