Lemon herb seasoning salt substitute

Ingredients

tablespoonDried basil
tablespoonDried oregano
tablespoonFinely ground black pepper
tablespoonDried onion flakes
tablespoonWhole celery seed
tablespoonPowdered basil
½teaspoonGarlic powder
½teaspoonGrated lemon rind

Directions

Place all ingredients in a medium bowl. Toss gently with spoon until well blended just before using. (For a more lemony flavor, add fresh lemon juice). Store in an air-tight container in a cool, dry, dark place for up to 6 months. Makes 1 cup.

This seasoning is good on fish, poultry and salads.
