Kentucky pecan pie

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup White Corn Syrup
1 cup Packed Dark Brown Sugar
⅓ teaspoon Salt
⅓ cup Melted Butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 larges Lightly Beaten Eggs
1¼ cup Shelled Whole Pecans

Combine the syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla. Mix well. Add the slightly beaten eggs. Pour into a 9" unbaked pie shell.

Sprinkle pecans over all. Bake in a 350øF oven for 45 minutes. When cool, top with whipped cream or ice cream. From: Syd's Cookbook.
