Kate's butterscotch caramels

Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
½cupSugar
½cupCorn syrup
½Stick butter
1tablespoonVinegar
teaspoonSoda
Chopped nuts

Directions

Boil to hard-ball stage all ingredients except nuts. Stir to keep from burning. Cool. Add nuts and pour onto greased platter. Cut into squares.
