Judi patton’s cole slaw

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Head cabbage; hand shredded
1 large Cucumber with peel; (hand shredded)
3 \N Carrots; (hand shredded)
5 \N Radishes depending on size (hand shredded); (5 to 10)
4 \N Green onions with stems (chopped); (4 to 6)
3 \N Stalks celery; (chopped)
½ \N Green bell pepper; (chopped)

In large bowl to fresh ingredients, add salt and pepper to taste, one tablespoon sugar, and add mayonnaise by large tablespoons stirring into slaw until it reaches the consistency desired. The First Lady heartily recommends and prefers using the old fashioned hand grater to provide the right consistency for the shredded vegetables. Chill several hours or overnight
