1 tablespoon | Butter Or Margarine; melted |
1 can | Del Monte Italian Or Sloppy Joe Sauce |
2 pounds | Ground Beef |
1 cup | Dry Bread Crumbs |
2 \N | Eggs; beaten |
1 tablespoon | Dried Onions |
Preheat oven to 375. In 8-quart pot cook noodles according to directions;drain.(Rinse half of noodles in cold water;cover and refrigerate for Layered Noodle Bake)Toss remaining noodles in butter;keep hot. Set aside half of sauce to brush on patties. In large bowl ,combine remaining sauce with remaining ingredients;mix with fork. On large ,greased baking sheet, shape meat mixture into (1-inch thick) oblong patties.Brush reserved sauce on patties. Bake 20 minutes or until no longer pink in center.(Cool;cover and refrigerate half of cooked patties for Layered Noddle Bake) Serve remaining patties with hot, buttered noodles.
