Measure | Ingredient |

2 cans | Chick peas: one drained; one with juice |
½ cup | Tahini (sesame seed paste) |
½ | Lemon; fresh juice from |
2 | Cloves garlic |
1 dash | Cumin |
Here's the recipe I use. I think it originally came from the Frugal Gourmet's first cookbook, but I've adapted it to my own tastes over the years...
Blend everything together in a food processor or blender. Adjust seasonings to taste (I often add more garlic and lemon, very rarely salt).
Serve with warm pita bread and veggies.
BTW: NEVER make it without the tahini. It just isn't the same! JN1T+@...
