Measure | Ingredient |

2 cups | Chickpeas |
2 teaspoons | Salt |
2 tablespoons | Melted fat or butter |
½ cup | Water |
½ cup | Honey |
Wash the chickpeas and soak overnight in water to cover. Drain.
Cover with fresh water; bring to a boil and cook over medium heat 1½ hours. Drain Mix the chickpeas, salt, fat or butter, ½ cup water and the honey in a baking dish.
