3 cups | Cold water |
½ teaspoon | Powdered alum |
30 \N | White clovers |
20 \N | Red clovers |
\N \N | Petals of 1 rose |
Boil sugar, water and alum for 9 minutes. Then add white and red clovers and the petals of one rose. Let all this stand for 20 minutes. Strain and put into jars. Makes about 2 quarts.
