1 pint | Cranberries |
½ cup | Water |
½ cup | Sugar |
1 pack | (3-oz) lemon gelatin |
1 cup | Hot water |
1 cup | 7-up or sprite |
¼ teaspoon | Salt |
1 cup | Chopped celery |
1 cup | Chopped apples |
1 cup | Chopped nuts |
Boil cranberries in ½ cup cold water, then sieve. Add sugar & heat to dissolve sugar; then cool. Dissolve gelatin in hot water; cool slightly then add 7-Up or Sprite; chill. When partially thickened, add cranberry mixture, salt, apples, celery & nuts. Chill until firm. Serve on lettuce leaves with mayonnaise.
