Herbed meat loaf`

Ingredients

| 2 | pounds | Ground Beef, Extra Lean | 
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 1 | cup | Bread Crumbs -- fine dry | 
| 1 | tablespoon | Parsley -- chopped | 
| ¼ | cup | Chives -- chopped | 
| 2 | tablespoons | Fresh Basil Or 1 Tbsp Dried | 
| 1 | Clove Garlic -- crushed | |
| ¼ | cup | Green Pepper -- chopped | 
| ¼ | cup | Celery -- chopped | 
| 1½ | teaspoon | Salt | 
| ½ | teaspoon | Black Pepper | 
| 3 | Strips Bacon | |
Directions
Combine all the ingredients except the bacon and place in a meat-loaf pan. Cover with the bacon strips and bake 1½ hrs in a 350 F oven. 
Serve 4-6.
