|½ cup||Butter or oleo|
|½ \N||A; (6 ounce) roll garlic cheese|
|1 cup||Grated sharp cheddar cheese|
|2 \N||Eggs plus enough milk to equal 1 cup|
|\N \N||Black pepper|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring water and salt to a boil; add grits; simmer until done. Add butter, cheeses, and pepper, stirring until melted.
In a large measuring cup, beat eggs and add milk to equal one cup. Blend into grits, and pour into a 2-quart casserole.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until light brown on top.
Yield: 4 to 6 servings
