Garden burgers

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 x Egg White
¼ cup Fine dry bread Crumbs
¼ cup Finely shredded Carrot
¼ cup Finely chopped Onion
¼ cup Finely chopped Green Pepper
½ teaspoon Salt
⅛ teaspoon Pepper
2 tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 pounds Ground Turkey or Lean Beef
1 x Med Tomato, sliced

In a large bowl combine egg white and bread crumbs.(if using beef, stir in 2 T water) Stir in carrot, onion, green pepper, salt, and pepper. Add Parmesan cheese and ground meat; mix well. Shape meat mixture into four ¾" thick patties.

Spray a cold grill rack with Pam. Then place rack on grill. Grill burgers on an uncovered grill directly over medium coals for 7 minutes. Turn and grill 8-11 minutes or till no pink remains. Place 1 tomato slice atop each burger and grill 1 minute more.
