Fruit tea loaf

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Oatmeal
1 cup Flour
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Boiling water
1 cup Raisins
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 ounce Butter or margarine
1 \N Egg

Fruit Tea Loaf

################## # Fruit Tea Loaf # ################## Wash the raisins and place in a bowl with the boiling water and baking soda. Cream the butter into the flour and oatmeal, add the sugar and beaten egg, then the fruit and water. Mix thoroughly and pour into a greased loaf tin. Bake at 400 for 1 hour.
