Fruit nut loaves

Yield: 1 loaf

Measure Ingredient
1 pack RED STAR Active Dry Yeast
3 cups Bread flour
3 tablespoons Sugar
1½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Ginger
½ teaspoon Nutmeg
2 tablespoons Butter, room temperature
¾ cup Milk (80'F.)
½ cup Water (80'F.)
1 Egg, room temperature
½ cup Diced fruit, finely cut
½ cup Pecans, chopped

A subtle blend of flavors: dried fruits, pecans, nutmeg and ginger. A perfect choice for gift giving any time of the year.

Place ingredients into pan in the order listed.

Makes 1 1½ lb loaf.

For the ARM-100, select "SWEET BREAD" setting and place the baking control knob at 12 o'clock.

For the ARM-150R, select "YEAST BREAD" and "MEDIUM" baking control.

For the ARM-300/350/500/550/600/800, select "MEDIUM" setting.

Before the end of the secondary kneading, the electronic beeper will sound 10 times. At this signal, add dried apricots and pecans.
