Fire beef
4 servings
Ingredients
| Quantity | Ingredient | |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | pounds | Beef sirloin (boneless steak) |
| ¼ | cup | Minced onion |
| 2 | teaspoons | Minced garlic |
| ¼ | cup | Soy sauce |
| 2 | tablespoons | Sugar |
| 1 | teaspoon | Black pepper |
| 1 | dash | Of red pepper |
| 2 | tablespoons | Ground toasted sesame seeds |
| 2 | tablespoons | Sesame-seed oil |
Directions
Cut sirloin into paper-thin slices. This is easier to do if meat is first frozen until hard. Combine onion, garlic, soy sauce, sugar, black and red pepper, sesame seed, and oil; mix well. Pour over beef slices, coating each slice with the sauce. Grill on skewers over charcoal. Or broil in a broiler 6 inches from source of heat, turning occasionally to brown on all sides.
Makes 4 servings.
