Yield: 6 - 8
|1 pounds||Ground beef or turkey|
|2 tablespoons||Cooking oil|
|1 large||Onion; diced fine|
|1||Jar Heinz Chili Sauce|
(can be doubled, tripled, etc. I made it multiplied by 6 for the church event)
In large skillet, brown meat and onion in oil. When meat is no longer pink, stir in chili sauce. Fill empty chili sauce jar ¼ full with water, and close jar and shake. Add that water to the sloppy joe mixture, and mix well. Lower heat, cover, and let them simmer for about 15 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.
