Evil cornbread

Measure Ingredient
1 cup All-purpose flour
1 cup Yellow cornmeal
¼ cup Turbinado sugar; (or sub white sugar)
1½ tablespoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
2 \N Eggs
1 cup Milk
¼ cup Vegetable oil
1 \N Red bell pepper; diced
4 \N Hot New Mexico green chiles; (or a 4 oz. can), diced
1 \N Jalepeno; finely chopped
1 \N Habenero; finely chopped
1 \N Yellow hot; finely chopped
½ \N Onion; diced

Stir together dry ingredients and cheese. Add eggs, milk, and oil, stirring until well combined, but a little lumpy. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Pour into a greased 9x13 baking pan, bake for 20 min. at 425 degrees.

Comments We like to eat this with butter and jelly (hab or jalepeno) or with mango salsa.
