Perfect corn bread

Yield: 1 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Flour
1 cup Cornmeal
¼ cup Sugar
4 teaspoons Baking powder
¾ teaspoon Salt
2 eaches Eggs
1 cup Milk
¼ cup Shortening

Combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until well blended. Beat in milk and eggs thoroughly. Bake at 425 degress for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
