Dumplings~for stew

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Flour
3 teaspoons Cream of tartar
1½ teaspoon Soda
½ teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Sugar

Method: Moisten with milk to make a thick dough. Drop by spoonfuls on hot stew, cover and steam for 15 min. without lifting cover. Stew must be in a medium boiling stage.
