Stew dumpling

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
¾ teaspoon Salt
1 dash Ground mace or nutmeg
1 teaspoon Minced onion
2 \N Egg yolks
⅓ cup Milk

sift together dry ingredients and add onion. Beat egg yolks with milk and add to dry mixture. Mix lightly until blended. drop batter on top of stew by teaspoonfuls. Cover tightly and simmer for 15 minutes without removing the cover.
