Dede's buttermilk bread

Measure Ingredient
⅞ cup Buttermilk or
3 tablespoons Dry buttermilk powder and
⅞ cup Water
(for Welbilt/Dak machines
Add 1 T more buttermilk)
2 cups Bread flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine
2 tablespoons Honey
¼ teaspoon Baking soda*
1½ teaspoon Red Star active dry yeast

* Prodigy "research" has shown that if using powdered buttermilk we should omit the baking soda.

Place all ingredients in bread pan, select Light Crust setting, and pres Start.
