Curried meat loaf

Ingredients

| 2 | smalls | Sweet apples,peeled,chopped |
| ½ | cup | Chopped onions |
| 1 | pounds | Very lean ground beef |
| 2 | teaspoons | Curry powder |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
| Salt and pepper to taste | ||
| 2 | eaches | Egg whites |
| ¾ | ounce | Wheat germ |
| ¾ | cup | Tomato sauce |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Cook onion and apple in margarine until onion is lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Combine with remaining ingredients EXCEPT ½ cup of the tomato sauce, shape into a loaf and place on a rack in a shallow baking pan. Top with remaining tomato sauce. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour.
