*lf using self-rising flour, reduce baking powder

Directions

Mix flour, cornmeal, dry milk, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening completely. Refrigerate in airtight container up to I month. 12 cups mix.

to 2 tablespoons plus 1½ teaspoons and omit salt.
