Cinderella sauce

Ingredients

1½ | cup | Ketchup |
1 | cup | Beer |
¾ | cup | Cider vinegar |
¼ | cup | Fresh cilantro, minced |
3 | tablespoons | Brown sugar |
2 | tablespoons | Worcestershire sauce |
2 | Cloves garlic, minced | |
2 | teaspoons | Ground Cumin |
1½ | teaspoon | Ground Anise seeds |
1½ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | teaspoon | Tabasco sauce |
Directions
Mix the ingredients in a saucepan and bring the liquid to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and cook the mixture until it thickens, approximately 40 minutes. Stir frequently. Use the sauce warm. It keeps, refrigerated, for a couple of weeks.
