Cilantro-mint masala marinade (spieler)

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 Clove from
1 Head garlic; coarsely chopped
3 tablespoons Yogurt
3 tablespoons Lemon or lime juice
1 teaspoon Cumin
1 teaspoon Turmeric
1 teaspoon Ground coriander
1 teaspoon Curry powder OR 1 tsp garam masala
5 Cardamon pods; the seeds
⅓ cup Olive oil
Salt and pepper; to taste

Combine in the order listed.

Marinate for 30 minutes to overnight.

Especially good on lamb kebabs, chicken breasts or big shrimp in their shells.
