Cheddar cheese grits 1

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Chicken stock (recipe
\N \N Follows)
2 cups Water
1 small Garlic clove, minced
1 cup Quick-cooking (but not
\N \N Instant) hominy grits
1 cup Grated cheddar cheese
\N \N Salt to taste

Place chicken stock and water in a medium saucepan over high heat.

Bring to a boil. Stir in garlic and grits. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring frequently, for about 10 to 15 minutes or until thickened.

Remove from heat and stir in cheese until completely melted. Season to taste with salt and keep warm.
