Brownie pudding

Ingredients

| ½ | cup | Sugar |
| ½ | cup | Unsweetened cocoa; divided |
| 2 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ½ | cup | Milk |
| 2 | tablespoons | Margerine; melted |
| 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla extract |
| ½ | cup | Semisw. choc chips |
| ½ | cup | Brown sugar; firm. packed |
| 1¾ | cup | Boiling water |
| Peppermint, coffee, or vanilla flavored ice cream | ||
Directions
As the cake bakes, a gooey pudding forms on bottom like magic.
Preheat oven 350.
Combine flour, sugar, 1/4c cocoa, baking powder and salt in bowl.
Stir in milk, butter and vanilla until smooth; stir in chocolate chips. Spread in ungreased shallow 1 1/2qt casserole.
Sprinkle brown sugar and 1/4c cocoa on top. Place in oven; pour boiling water over top. Bake 35 mins. Cool 10 mins after serving.
Serve with ice cream
