Brownie pudding

Yield: 1 cake

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Flour
½ cup Sugar
½ cup Unsweetened cocoa; divided
2 teaspoons Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Milk
2 tablespoons Margerine; melted
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
½ cup Semisw. choc chips
½ cup Brown sugar; firm. packed
1¾ cup Boiling water
Peppermint, coffee, or vanilla flavored ice cream

As the cake bakes, a gooey pudding forms on bottom like magic.

Preheat oven 350.

Combine flour, sugar, 1/4c cocoa, baking powder and salt in bowl.

Stir in milk, butter and vanilla until smooth; stir in chocolate chips. Spread in ungreased shallow 1 1/2qt casserole.

Sprinkle brown sugar and 1/4c cocoa on top. Place in oven; pour boiling water over top. Bake 35 mins. Cool 10 mins after serving.

Serve with ice cream
