Yield: 4 servings
|1 each||Flank steak, about 1-1/4 lb.|
|1 tablespoon||Olive oil|
|x||Salt and Freshly ground|
|. black pepper|
1. Brush the steak with oil.
2. Heat a broiler pan 5 minutes under the broiler.
3. Place the steak on the pan and broil about 4 minutes per side for medium rare.
4. Transfer to a cutting board. Let stand about 5 minutes. Cut very thin slices against the grain and on an angle. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
