Big mama bbq sauce

½ | cup | Vinegar |
½ | cup | Margarine or butter |
1 | cup | Water |
1 | teaspoon | Liquid smoke |
1 | cup | Maple or corn syrup |
2 | teaspoons | Hot sauce (such as tobasco or Louisiana Red Sauce) |
1 | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
1 | teaspoon | Onion powder |
1 | tablespoon | Sugar |
½ | cup | Steak sauce |
2 | tablespoons | Seasoned salt |
1 | cup | Cola |
¼ | cup | Soy sauce |
1 | teaspoon | Red pepper; optional |
Directions
From: Chris Susalski <DntlQueen@...> Date: Thu, 11 Jul 1996 12:05:31 -0400 Mix well in large pot. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly to avoid scorching. Reduce heat and simmer one hour. Makes 2 quarts.
Note: This is the BEST bbq sauce I've ever tasted - you'll never go back to bottled! You may can this after simmering, and it will also keep well in the refrigerator.
