Measure Ingredient
10 pounds Diced onions
20 ounces Margerine or oil
5 quarts Water
25 pounds Ketchup
5 pounds Brown sugar
5 cups Cider vinegar
20 ounces Beef or chicken base
5 ounces Liquid smoke
2½ ounce Tabasco
¼ cup Italian spice mix
1½ ounce Garlic powder
1½ ounce Chili powder
1¼ ounce Dry mustard
1¼ ounce Ground allspice
2 tablespoons Black pepper.
10 ounces Corn Starch

Saute Onions in Margarine or Oil. Then Add all other but Corn Starch. Cook all this mess till it gets hot, then thicken it with corn starch that has been mixed into 5 cups cold water. Makes 5 gallons.
