Basll burgers

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Lean ground beef
¼ cup Red wine -- or beef broth
¼ cup Ltalian bread crumbs
¼ cup Red onion -- minced
½ cup Basil leaves -- minced
2 teaspoons Garlic salt
8 eaches Hamburger buns
\N \N Monterey Jack cheese slices,
\N \N Optional

In a large bowl, combine first six ingredients; mix well. Shape into eight patties. Grill over medium-hot coals until burgers reach desired doneness. Serve on hamburger buns; top with cheese slices if desired. Yield: 8 servings
