Yield: 1 cup (aprx)
|½ cup||Onion; chopped|
|1½ tablespoon||Sugar, brown; packed|
|1 tablespoon||Oil, vegetable|
|⅓ cup||Vinegar, cider|
|1 tablespoon||Horseradish, prepared|
|¼ teaspoon||Black pepper, coarse grind|
Cook onion and brown sugar in oil in small saucepan over medium heat until onion is tender, about 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and continue cooking over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; cool thoroughly before adding to beef. Makes about ¾ cup.
