Aunt ilo's butterscotch dumplings

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Brown sugar
¼ cup Butter
2½ cup Boiling water
4 tablespoons Butter
¼ teaspoon Salt
1½ cup Flour
¼ cup Sugar
½ cup Milk
1½ tablespoon Baking powder


Simmer brown sugar, butter and water in a 9 x 13 pan while you mix up dumplings.

Mix dumplings and drop by spoonfuls into boiling syrup. Bake 20 minuter at 350 degress F or until golden brown.

Serve hot with whipped cream or ice cream.

NOTES : Aunt Ilo is the oldest sister of my grandmother Leah Petersen.
