Arizona pecan and date pie

¼teaspoonSalt
1teaspoonVanilla extract
1tablespoonAll purpose flour
1cupDark corn syrup
12eachesDates, pitted and cut into pieces
¾cupChopped pecans
Pastry for 1 crust, 9 inch pie, unbaked

Directions

Cream butter with sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat in salt and vanilla. Add flour and blend well. Add corn syrup. Fold in dates and pecans. Pour into pastry lined 9 inch pie pan.
