Apple honeydew ice (motts)

Yield: 10 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Sugar-free lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 cup Apple Sauce
1 small Honeydew melon; seeded, rind removed, cut into chunks
⅛ teaspoon Ginger
2 drops Green food coloring; or more if desired

In food processor bowl with metal blade or blender container, combine all ingredients; process until smooth.

Pour into 8 or 9-inch non-metal square pan. Cover; freeze until firm.

Scoop frozen mixture into 5-oz. drink cups or spoon into dessert dishes.

Yields 10 (½-cup) servings.

Notes: Pantry: Mott's Regular Apple Sauce. Use a well-ripened melon for optimum flavor in this refreshing low calorie ice.
