Apple chip cookies

Yield: 12 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Brown sugar
¼ cup Butter
½ cup Cream
1 Egg
½ teaspoon Soda
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
1 cup Chopped,peeled apples
½ cup Butterscotch Chips
1 cup Walnuts, chopped
Glaze:
3 tablespoons Butter, melted
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
2 tablespoons Cream
2 cups Confectioners Sugar
24 Walnut Halfs

1. Heat oven to 350 F. 2. Cream butter and sugar; add egg, beat well.

3. Stir in dry ingredients. 4. Add apples and nuts and chips. 5. Drop by teaspoon full onto greased cookiesheet. 6. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.

7. Make glaze by mixing together the melted butter,cinnamon, cream confectioners sugar. 8. Spread on cookies. 9. Top each with a walnut half.
