Fresh apple cookies

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Butter or margarine
1¼ cup Packed brown sugar
2 \N Eggs
2½ cup Flour
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Nutmeg
½ teaspoon Allspice
¼ teaspoon Cloves
½ cup Apple juice
1 cup Grated unpeeled raw apple
¾ cup Chopped walnuts
1 cup Raisins
\N 2 dozen.

Notes: By Gladys E. Stein, Tamaqua. The Times News, PA In a medium mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs until smooth. In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients. Add to the creamed mixture along with the apple juice. Stir in the apples, nuts and raisins.

Never overmix the ingredients when combining. Butter a large cookie sheet.
